Jooki's founders patented their innovative use of near-field communication (NFC) technology and electronics, with the result that kids only need a figurine or a token to operate Jooki - with no screen in sight!
Developed, designed, and tested with kids and parents, Jooki generation 2 features Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, stylish buttons, more colorful tokens, 5GB of internal memory, and 8 hours of battery life.
We try to give Eva access to musical instruments (like maracas, triangle, drum tone, etc) and a music player we always have on our shelf. We love our @jookirocks music player as it gives her complete autonomy and independence. We have 5 playlists, each connected to a figurine. When a figurine touches the player, music starts to play. She can change the volume (within limits), skip and repeat songs. All by herself and without a screen!
For the last 6 months, I relied on screen time to keep A occupied while R napped, and also to have my own downtime. Nothing wrong with using screen time as a tool, but I was afraid I was relying on it too much - so I’ve been trying to wean my daughter off. Her @us.jooki.rocks has been a win. She loves singing and dancing to her favorite Cocomelon and Disney tunes and gets to choose the playlist. A side of muffin and some milk too helps too. And mama gets to get stuff done!
I’m doing everything I can to keep my girls off of the devices. Anything to get us up and moving and that’s why I’m such a fan of Jooki It’s a portable speaker that has characters that kids can change. Each character has a song so kids can control the music themselves. It’s the perfect companion for playing outside and my daughter has her favorite songs!
